Juventus have a long-standing interest in Nicolo Zaniolo, and AS Roma know this, but they don’t seem worried that he is leaving them.
The technically gifted attacker has been on the Bianconeri’s radar for a long time, with reports even suggesting he will be signed as Paulo Dybala’s replacement at the end of last season.
However, he stayed on in Rome after helping them win the European Conference League, with his current contract expiring in 2024.
He has been in talks with his current employers about a new agreement. However, they don’t seem serious and Tuttomercatoweb reveals that they are relaxed about their future.
Juve FC says
This could be a sign that Roma are open to selling Zaniolo, and we should probably act and make them an offer in January or at the end of this season.
It is not clear if the player wants to jump ship and move to Juve. If that is the case, it will make our lives much easier in our bid to sign him.
We need to urge his entourage not to extend his contract with the Giallorossi. When he enters his senior year, we’ll make an offer for him.
