Riot police have been deployed in the city of Brussels as rioting fans set electric cars and scooters on fire following Belgium’s World Cup defeat by Morocco.
Roberto MartÃnez’s team lost 2-0 to the African team on Sunday and that followed a poor showing in the Red Devils’ opener against Canada, which could now result in the country’s elimination during the group stage.
The fans were not happy with their country’s performance today and decided to destroy their own city, which was responded to by riot police with tear gas and water cannons.
