Report – Juventus may not make any January signings

The resignation of the Juventus board will affect their January plans and it is possible that the bianconeri will not make new signings.

They had been in fine form before the World Cup break and there were reports that they might reinforce their squad in the upcoming transfer window.

However, that is likely not the case because they have announced that the new Board of Directors will be appointed on January 18, 2023, according to Football Italia.

By that date, other clubs may have finished their January deals and some Bianconeri goals could pass on to other suitors.

The board will also need time to plan before making any purchases and could decide it’s too early to sign players in January.

Juve FC says

This decision to resign is a shock to all of us and we expect it to have a far-reaching effect on our operations.

Our players need to recover and keep winning games to help the fans forget about the terrible events that have happened recently at the club.

Paul Pogba should be back and Federico Chiesa will probably be fitter when football returns in the new year, so we may not need to strengthen the group.

But next summer, the board must be prepared to manage the many expenses we expect and finalize plans to make new signings.
