Juventus and AS Roma meet this weekend in Serie A, but there is already another battle between the two clubs, albeit off the field.
The Bianconeri are interested in Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi, but Roma are also interested in the Italian star.
Sassuolo is one of the best-selling clubs in Serie A, so the midfielder will almost certainly leave in the summer for the right price and Juve are poised to add him to the squad at the end of the campaign.
The 23-year-old is a player most Italian clubs would like to buy, but Tuttomercatoweb claims that Roma and the Bianconeri are the main suitors he has now.
The transfer will then come down to the club you want to join that can meet the Black and Green asking price.
Juve FC says
Frattesi has developed into a very good midfielder who can do a job for us if we add him to our team.
We also have a very good relationship with the blacks and greens, which should help us work out this deal.
However, we cannot underestimate Roma in the transfer race, considering that the player was born in Rome and could be eager to return to his birthplace.
