The transfer rumor mill has been steadily churning ahead of the January window with Enzo Fernández now very much enjoying links with Liverpool Football Club amid their ongoing search for midfield additions.
Jacque Talbot, the reporter who revealed Darwin Nunez’s planned move to the Premier League, claimed the World Cup winner is likely to move to Real Madrid after Benfica received an offer from an unidentified party.
It’s a move that could spell big news for the Reds’ search for Jude Bellingham.
“They refused to name which club it was. It sounds outside of Portugal that it will probably be a move to Real Madrid for Enzo Fernández, ”said the journalist on his YouTube channel.
“Spain or Real Madrid apparently, so Barcelona? I haven’t checked. Presumably, it’s going to be Real Madrid.
“Which is fantastic if you’re a Liverpool fan because it will surely open a door for Bellingham. I feel that Jude Bellingham will eventually go to Liverpool, I think that will be done personally.
The Merseysiders will be forced to shell out a fee likely to exceed £100m, between €100-150m (£88.4-132.7m), according to Florian Plettenberg, following even more notable performances for the club and country.

There is little hope that we will manage to secure two big deals for the England prodigy and Fernandez in the summer window (moves said to be financially possible).
Bellingham alone would, of course, be more than enough, provided the club manage to secure at least one other quality midfield signing over the course of the next two windows.
