Public Money Is On Jake Paul For His Fight Against Tommy Fury

We’re just around the corner from the boxing match between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, and the bets are high on both sides. But it’s the former YouTube sensation that the public seems to be siding with in this fight.

When betting lines opened, both wrestlers were listed at -115, essentially making it a pick-em up from the off. But since then, 61 percent of the cash and 53 percent of the total action has been in favor of Paul. The biggest gap between the two was when Fury dropped to +185 at the same time Paul was sitting at +225.

Who is the favorite between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury?

Those numbers have evened out a bit, but there’s still a solid gap between the two. Paul is currently listed as a -145 favourite, with Fury sitting at +125.

The verbal sparring that has taken place between the fight has added a lot of fuel to the fire. During the pre-fight press conference, Paul offered Fury a double-or-nothing financial deal, which Fury’s father accepted.

It seemed like there would be another story underlying this matchup, but it looks like Fury’s camp might be having second thoughts. Following a meeting on Friday in which Fury promised Paul that he would sign the contract after it was reviewed by his lawyers, the deal remains unsigned with approximately 24 hours to go before the fight is scheduled to start.

There was also the fight the two were involved in during Saturday’s final showdown. Paul and Fury went head-to-head, with the latter doing most of the bullying talking. But Paul called out to him, saying that he hadn’t signed the double-or-nothing contract yet, and then moved his hands over Fury’s nipple twice. Fury objected to this, and the scrum quickly broke up when the two parted ways.

Jake Paul has a knack for the entertainment factor, especially given his history as a YouTuber and content creator. He knows how to draw attention to his fights and matchups, and this one against Tommy Fury is no different.

The fight will take place on Sunday afternoon, with the main card beginning at 2 pm ET, with the main even scheduled for 4:30 pm ET. It will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
