According to Football Transfers, PSV have set a £40m price tag for Leeds target Cody Gakpo.
This would be the club’s record fee since PSV sold Hirving Lozano for a fee close to €40m.
Leeds have been heavily linked with the 23-year-old star and even had an offer turned down in late August.
The Dutch star has started the season brightly, scoring eight league goals in eight games and will become the focal point for the Netherlands next month in Qatar.
Leeds face stiff competition from Manchester United for Gakpo’s services, but the Yorkshire club believe they are prime candidates to sign the 23-year-old.
