PSG president can’t contain interest in Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham entered the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as one of the top teenage prospects in Europe. After all, he’s been playing for Germany’s Borussia Dortmund ever since he arrived as a 17-year-old prodigy. Now 19 years old, Bellingham is drawing interest from the best teams on the planet.

Playing well for Dortmund is impressive, but dominating the midfield during the World Cup as a teenager is simply spectacular. Bellingham has started all four matches in the tournament for England so far. He has already added a goal and an assist also in the competition.

PSG between massive clubs that want Jude Bellingham

Due to the outstanding performances, the teenager is receiving a lot of attention. Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been interested in bringing the star in next summer. PSG chairman and owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke about Jude Bellingham during a recent interview with Sky Sports.

“What a player. Honestly, England are lucky to have him… and he’s one of the best players in the tournament,” Al-Khelaifi proclaimed. “Incredible and you watch his first World Cup – calm, relaxed and confident.”

The wealthy team owner also couldn’t hide his interest in potentially bringing Jude Bellingham to PSG. “Everyone wants it. I am not going to hide it,” Al-Khelaifi said. “But I respect that he is in his club and, I respect, if we want to talk to him, we first talk to the club.”

The German team will make big profits if they sell

Dortmund will no doubt be talking to a lot of teams about Bellingham. The German club previously paid an initial transfer fee of 25 million euros to buy the midfielder from Birmingham City. However, the total amount has most likely now reached €30 million after certain stipulations were met.

However, many have suggested that Jude Bellingham is now worth over $100 million, which is not a problem for PSG. Some of the aforementioned big clubs probably wouldn’t balk at a fee in this region either. However, Dortmund may be patient in finding the right buyer as the teenager’s current contract runs until 2025.
