The news emerged in recent weeks about a meeting that had taken place between the representatives of Sofyan Amrabat and Liverpool and now it has been confirmed how these conversations went.
Thanks to our exclusive interview with Foot Mercato’s Аnas Bakhkhar, Empire of the Kop has learned more about what was discussed and how successful this meeting was:
“Yes, they did well. Sofyan Amrabat has not yet met Jurgen Klopp, it was only his agent who decided to meet the Liverpool manager.

“A player with the mentality of Sofyan Amrabat, who is a hard worker and will be able to meet Jurgen Klopp’s demands on the pitch, be pressing all the time, run a lot and try hard.
“I think it was a positive meeting between the two.”
The 26-year-old is clearly a target for the Reds, if these aforementioned meetings have taken place, so hearing that they were positive will surely only mean the player remains on our watch list.
It was also exclusively revealed to Empire of the Kop that a second meeting between the agent and the Moroccan’s brother is now scheduled, with our club, so we can surely expect to hear more from the Fiorentina man in the future.
With many eyes on the Dutch-born man due to his performances in Qatar, we may soon have to compete with competitors for his signature, but hopefully arriving early will increase our chances.
With the hopes of many of our fans pinned on signing Jude Bellingham, it remains to be seen if these two deals can happen at the same time, but time will tell on that front.
