Joao Félix has recently been linked with a transfer away from Atlético Madrid. The Portuguese international is currently among the most promising attackers in Europe.
Joao Félix joined Atlético Madrid for a massive transfer fee of £113 million in the 2019 summer transfer window. He has played 129 games (in all competitions) for the Madrid outfit so far, registering 33 goals. and 18 assists.
The Portuguese international helped the colchoneros win the LaLiga title during the 2020-21 season. Félix won the Golden Boy award in 2019 and was also included in LaLiga’s Team of the Season last season.

Portugal international Joao Félix has sent a message to Atlético Madrid amid rumors about his transfer away from the club.

Speaking to Sport TV, he said: “The way of playing with Portugal and then at the club is different. When conditions are favourable, things go better”
Atlético Madrid chief executive Miguel Ángel Gil Marín confirmed earlier this week that Félix is for sale due to a lack of playing time and a relationship with manager Diego Simeone. The Portuguese international has started just five La Liga games so far this season.
Speaking to the media, Marin said: “João Félix has a higher level, but because of his relationship with Simeone and the playing time… we think it makes sense to consider possible offers to sell him.”
However, Félix is a talented player and has been doing a great job for Atlético Madrid in the current FIFA World Cup. He has made three appearances in the tournament so far, registering one goal and two assists.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in recent weeks for the transfer of Joao Félix. According to Marca, Atlético de Madrid has set an initial price of 100 million euros for Joao Félix before the January transfer market.
