Petition started to ban Manchester City striker from playing football

A new petition has been launched to ban Manchester City striker Erling Haaland from playing football.

After joining Bryne’s academy at a very young age, Haaland graduated from the club. He was then promoted to the main team where he made his senior team debut. Haaland played one season with Brfynes and then joined Molde.

Initially, after passing through the reserve team, the Norwegian striker played for Molde’s senior team. He featured two seasons for the Norwegian club. He then moved to Austria and joined RB Salzburg. In Salzburg, Haaland got the breakthrough from him when he scored goals in all five of his UEFA Champions League appearances. Haaland was then pursued by many top clubs.

However, the Norwegian striker decided to join German club Borussia Dortmund in 2019. Haaland continued his phenomenal goalscoring form and became one of the highest-rated youngsters in the world. He played two and a half seasons for the Bundesliga team and scored 86 times in the league.

Erling Haaland joined Manchester City at the start of the season when the Citizens paid his release clause worth £51m to Borussia Dortmund.

In a matter of days, he became the most important player in Pep Guardiola’s squad. The Norwegian goalscoring machine has already scored 19 goals, including three hattricks in the English Premier League. The first two came against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

And the most recent of those came in a 6-3 win over arch-rivals Manchester United last weekend. Haaland even provided two assists in the match and showed his creative side of the game.

Overall, the striker is in brilliant form and is currently one of the best players in the world. Haaland’s meteoric rise has become a huge problem for rival teams. He is now literally being feared by them.

And now, an account called “Ten Hag’s Reds” has launched a petition on a website to ban Haaland from playing football.

According to the organizer, the Norwegian goalscoring machine is a “robot” and therefore it is “not fair” that Norwegians are part of football.

Amid the shortage of pure shots, Haaland has become a robot with his shot. The Norwegian scored a brace again in the last Champions League game in the first half against FC Copenhagen.

Although the petition has no power to stop Erling Haaland from destroying more equipment, it already has 100 signatures. This shows the Norwegian’s fear factor and how valuable he is to the City team.

Haaland and Manchester City will now face Southampton in their next outing.
