Pep Guardiola provides three-man injury update ahead of trip to Anfield

Liverpool and Manchester City meet at Anfield this weekend and Pep Guardiola has been able to provide a three-man injury update on those who may miss the trip to Merseyside.

Speaking to the media before the match, the Spaniard said: “Everyone will be out, John [Stones] I think I’ll be back, I don’t know when, but maybe a week, ten days. kalvin [Phillips] It’s getting better and it’s getting better. Kyle [Walker] it’s still out.

It looks like we can expect to see the Citizens travel without John Stones, Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker, so the Reds may be bolstered by the absence of some key players on the road team.

Given substitute full-back Sergio Gomez’s shaky performance and red card on the week, perhaps our left wing could be an avenue from which we can find success.
