Paris Saint Germain publicly declare their stance on signing Cristiano Ronaldo – Man United News And Transfer News

French giant Paris St-Germain will not sign former Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was released by United in November after a poisonous interview with Piers Morgan in which he smeared the club and Erik ten Hag.

Since then, the 37-year-old has been linked to a host of clubs, but most in Europe have turned down the chance to sign him.

Ronaldo’s strongest offers have come from Saudi Arabia, with Al-Nassr offering him a big-money three-year contract to become the face of the team and the country’s national league.

The last club that has come out to declare its disinterest in acquiring Ronaldo’s services is PSG through its president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Khelaifi spoke to Sky Sports and expressed his opinion on rumors linking the five-time Ballon d’Or winner with a move to Le Parc des Princes.

Khelaifi said: “He is a legend, a star. I admire him as a footballer and I really like him as a player and a professional. He is a fantastic player. He is unbelievable what he does at 37 years old.”

“But all the clubs want it. For us the problem is that we already have that position filled”.

“It’s not easy to replace the ones we have in that position with him. Honestly, for us it would be impossible.”

True to Khelaifi’s words, it would be hard to see where Ronaldo would fit into PSG’s star-studded forward line consisting of the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

It seems that Ronaldo’s options are running out and the player will have to accept the Saudi offer.

Certainly your situation and how it unfolds is one to move on from.
