Panicking Tottenham open new talks with Conte amidst Juventus’ interest

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has been named as one of the possible successors to Max Allegri at Juventus and the English club is concerned.

The former bianconeri manager has become one of the best bosses and the Premier League team wants to keep him.

Conte was backed with new signings at the start of this season, but his team is underperforming and his current contract expires at the end of this season.

The Spurs want to keep him, but he’s relaxed about contract negotiations and doesn’t seem willing to extend his stay with them beyond the current deal.

The Athletic reports that Spurs are now looking to sit down with their entourage to discuss a new deal again, as they hope to avoid losing him at the end of the season and learn of Juventus’ interest in him.

Juve FC says

Conte is one of the best managers and probably the best man to replace Allegri on the Juve bench.

That said, the former Juve manager will probably want to stay in England and succeed and Spurs will do everything they can to persuade him to extend his current contract.

Allegri hasn’t done poorly recently and we’ll likely keep him for the foreseeable future if the team continues to perform well.
