Opinion: Three Cremonese players that Juventus must look out for

Finally, the wait is over and our beloved club will once again take to the field in an official match after a long hiatus that lasted 50 days.

Before the break, Max Allegri’s men were on course to turn around what started out as a disastrous campaign, putting together an impressive six-game winning streak without conceding a single goal.

Naturally, the Bianconeri will be looking to reach the seventh on their first trip to Cremona. Unfortunately for Cremonese, they are yet to claim their first Serie A victory following their promotion last season, but then again, the memory of our calamitous loss to Monza is still fresh in our minds.

Therefore, even the Tigers could pull off a big upset if we let our guard down. So let’s take a closer look at three rival players that Juventus should pay special attention to.

Marco Carnesecchi (Goalkeeper)

As we reported earlier this week, Juventus will take the opportunity to monitor the young goalkeeper who could one day inherit Wojciech Szczesny’s job.

But on Wednesday, the Atalanta loanee will look to thwart his suitors with a series of saves, just as he did against Milan, cementing his status as Serie A’s most exciting young custodian.

Emanuele Valeri (winger)

Now surely not the most renowned name, but the left-back is gradually building a respectable reputation for himself. This midweek, he will be looking to take advantage of the absence of Juan Cuadrado on Juve’s right flank to inflict some damage.

Cyriel Dessers (forward)

While David Okereke might be the most reputable striker in Cremona, Cyriel Dessers could explode on any given day. This season, the Nigerian has been unlucky at times, but he remains a huge threat to Old Lady defenses with his clever positioning and the firepower of his boots.
