The loaded card includes the final of the European MMA Champions League, as well as an exciting fight for the interim middleweight title. 20,000 fans inside Prague’s O2 Arena will also witness open scoring for the first time so athletes and their teams know exactly where they stand at the end of each round. OKTAGON 51 will be broadcast live on OKTAGON.TV internationally and globally on the global platform DAZN, in all markets except CZ/SK/DE. Fans in the UK and Ireland can tune in on Channel 4 and RMC Sport will broadcast the event for viewers in France. OKTAGON 51 will be broadcast exclusively on BILD+ in the DACH region. The action starts at 5pm GMT/6pm CET/12pm ET/9am CT.
In the main event, the overall winner of the €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger welterweight tournament will be decided when Serbian Bojan Veličković (24-12-2) takes on Greek Spartan Andreas Michailidis (16-6), in an exchange of life. €300,000. Lethal finalist Vlasto Čepo (12-2) will face Babilon MMA champion Piotr Wawrzyniak (11-5) in the co-main event for the interim middleweight belt.
Czech superstar Karlos Vémola (36-7) will grace Prague’s O2 Arena for the final time when he takes on his longtime rival ‘Pirát’ Krištofič (16-6) in a special catchweight fight 88.5kg/195lb. Former Glory kickboxer Daniel Škvor (6-3) will take on the man known as ‘King Kong’, Martin Zawada (29-18-1), at light heavyweight.
Elsewhere on the card, devastating striker Ion Surdu (14-5) takes on former Cage Warriors and Venator FC champion Stefano Paternò (15-4-1) in a Tipsport Gamechanger reserve bout. Additionally, Bellator veteran Chiara Penco (8-4) returns to the promotion against French all-rounder Eva Dourthe (7-5) to decide the next strawweight contender.
