O’Hara labels Trent Alexander-Arnold a ‘League One defender’

Liverpool are going through a rough patch at the moment and it has become a favorite pastime for many so-called pundits to blame Trent Alexander-Arnold for recent results, with even more unfair abuse coming their way.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jamie O’Hara had a lot to say about our No.66: “Teams know they can get to Trent…defensively he’s a League One defender, but going forward he’s Champions League .

“Klopp knows it, but he loves his attacking ability, but defensively he is everywhere.”

It looks like our team’s Scouser can now spend a couple of weeks in the treatment room, following the ankle injury sustained after the clash with Gabriel Martinelli.

Whether it could be a positive for him to have a period of time out of the spotlight, we’ll have to see, but now it’s becoming overblown with the number of people criticizing his game so much.

No League One defender wins every major domestic trophy at the age of 23 and it’s time people realized he’s going through a tough period on the pitch (like many of our players) but that doesn’t make him a bad player
