Official: Samuel Iling-Junior finally extends his Juventus contract

Samuel Iling-Junior has signed a new contract with Juventus, ending speculation about his future at the club after he broke into their first team in impressive fashion this season.

Max Allegri gave the Englishman a few substitute appearances before the break, delivering some impressive results to force the manager to keep him in the first team.

His previous contract was due to expire at the end of this season and several clubs have already surrounded the youngster, trying to add him to their squad.

However, Juve were just as interested in keeping him, and the bianconeri managed to get him to sign a new contract until 2025, the club announced on its website.

A statement said:

“Samuel Iling-Junior has put his future at Juventus in writing and officially joins the first team by renewing his contract until 2025.

“Born in 2003, Samuel joined Juventus in September 2020 after starting at Chelsea Academy. His career with the Bianconeri has been one of continuous growth that has led him to make his debut with the first team, when in a matter of minutes it was difficult for him to display all his quality”.

Juve FC says

Iling-Junior is one of us and it is a source of joy that we have kept him at the club despite interest from other European teams.

The youngster is clearly talented and is now set for first-team action, considering his contributions to our team when he plays.
