And he’s among some impressive company, as Pelé and Ronaldo are the other two male players to have done it. It was his penalty against South Korea in his team’s 4-0 round of 16 match that secured his name in the history books.

Between the two former forwards, they lifted all five World Cups in Brazil; three for Pelé and two for Ronaldo.
The Paris Saint-Germain star hitting the record today may have been a positive sign for the Selecao’s chances of winning this year’s tournament. Currently they are also favorites and have always looked threatening on the field.
