PSG News: The drama between two Paris Saint-Germain stars, Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé has been one of the hottest conversations in recent days.
Neymar joined PSG in 2017 from Barcelona for a whopping €222m transfer fee. Meanwhile, Mbappe joined PSG the following year.
Since then, the duo of Neymar and Mbappé has been called one of the best of all time.
Recently, Mbappé had the chance to leave the club and join La Liga giants Real Madrid. However, he decided to stay in Paris and sign one of the most luxurious contracts of all time. Since then, things have not been the same at all.
PSG News: Neymar feels that Mbappé is responsible for this drama
After Mbappé’s contract renewal, the French striker reportedly wanted Neymar to leave the club due to the Brazilian’s growing influence in the locker room.
It became publicly visible when Neymar and Mbappé had a clear dispute over a penalty in their Ligue 1 tie against Montpellier.
PSG soon had a dressing room meeting to resolve the issues, but it has been understood that nothing much has changed.
There is still a clear clash between the two PSG stars. it became clearer in his final UEFA Champions League match against Juventus when Mbappe decided to shoot rather than feed Neymar, who was free for a touch.
However, all is not over for the PSG duo. According to Goal, Neymar continues to blame Mbappé for this drama but does not want to hinder the unity of the PSG dressing room. In recent years, Neymar Mbappé has won it all together in France and failed in the final stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Many pundits pointed to this dispute even before the start of the season as the cause of PSG’s continued failures in the UCL.
PSG then brought in another superstar in Lionel Messi, but again failed to win the elusive UCL.
