Neil Jones claimed that Jurgen Klopp was likely referring to Konrad Laimer and not Aurelien Tchouameni when he discussed a transfer target before the window closed.

“I think it was Konrad Laimer he was talking about. I reported that the day before the window closed, Liverpool had given up on Laimer. He checked a lot of boxes,” the reporter told Redmen TV (via HITC).
