Mikel Arteta confirms Arsenal’s plan in the absence of Casemiro ahead of Sunday clash – Man United News And Transfer News

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has dismissed rumors that Casemiro’s absence for Manchester United on Sunday automatically gives his team the advantage.

However, the Spanish manager said that he, his coaching staff and the players will plot United’s downfall knowing that Casemiro will not be available.

Speaking during his press conference, Arteta issued a warning that United still have plenty of quality players who can make a difference.

Casemiro was ruled out of the game after receiving a booking in Wednesday’s draw at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace.

A foul on Wilfried Zaha will see the Brazilian serve out his one game ban against the Gunners in what is a huge blow to Erik ten Hag and the team.

Arteta said: “It is [Casemiro being suspended] something we can’t control. He didn’t play in the first game either, and we still didn’t do enough to win that game.”

“When you look at their [Manchester United] team is incredible the individual and collective organization to beat any opponent in this league.

“We’ll plan the game knowing it’s not available, that’s for sure.”

Arteta said United have so many people that they can change the direction of a game in an instant.

United’s highly talented stars, according to Arteta, mean Arsenal will have to do their best and not allow the Red Devils to grow up the game.

The Arsenal manager also praised the work done by Erik ten Hag so far at Old Trafford.

Arteta praised Ten Hag for turning things around at United so quickly and implementing a style of play and training that everyone at the club has embraced.
