Micah Richards has to ‘do a double-take’ when looking at Liverpool target – Klopp allegedly a ‘huge admirer’

Micah Richards still can’t believe how young Jude Bellingham is, the player still running the midfield ‘in games of the highest standards’.

It is a fact that, without a doubt, is incredible for many of the best teams in Europe and, without a doubt, it will be one of the many reasons why Liverpool, Real Madrid and many more pursue the English relentlessly in the next window of summer.

This comes courtesy of the Daily Mail (via a tweet from Dominic King), and German manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be a huge fan of the talented teenager.

“I still have to do a double take when I look at his age. He is 19 years old and runs in midfield in matches at the highest level,” the former Manchester City man told the publication.

“There’s no ‘could’ about it: Jude Bellingham is already amazing and will be at the heart of this England team for years to come, and I can’t wait to see his progress.

“I can understand why Liverpool were so heavily linked with him this summer and why Jurgen Klopp is reportedly a huge fan; there will certainly be a lot of interest in every transfer window from now on.”

As for who is set to emerge victorious in this spectacular transfer race for the ages, that remains to be seen.

Some speculation has already put Los Blancos in the driver’s seat, although, from our point of view, it is not yet clear.

There is obvious appeal to the Spanish capital-based side as Champions League regulars, of course, although it’s hard to imagine Bellingham getting as much playing time early on in Madrid compared to Merseyside.

With the possibility of three midfielders leaving us next year due to expiring contracts and the likes of Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara being on the wrong side of 30, there is a clear need for top talent to embed themselves in the heart of the game. of the field for us for the next decade or so.
