It looks like the Paris Saint-Germain faithful won’t be taking very kindly to Lionel Messi when he returns to the club.
An image has circulated on social media showing the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner’s PSG shirt used as a doormat in France, with an accompanying sign reading: “Remember to wipe your feet when you enter.”
Messi was instrumental throughout Argentina’s World Cup campaign and capped it off with another outstanding performance in the final that earned him the Man of the Match award. He scored seven goals in all, two of which came against France, and contributed three assists throughout the tournament.
