Lionel Messi gave Argentina the lead in their World Cup semi-final clash against Croatia from the penalty spot.
The Argentine is looking to reach his second World Cup final and has made a perfect start with the first goal in this clash being vital considering how Croatia plays.
A penalty was awarded after the Croatian keeper took Man City’s Julián Álvarez out in the box and it was Messi who stepped up to finish the ball off and score his fifth goal of the tournament.
