McKennie flops again as Milik shines for Juventus

Juventus earned a 1-0 win against Cremonese in the return to league soccer in Italy, thanks to a very late goal from Arkadiusz Milik.

The Bianconeri had worked all game to pick up the points, but the hosts were stubbornly good at the back as they looked for chances to catch Juve at half-time.

Cremonese had some good game passages as Juve waited for a good moment to attack and score.

Most of their plans didn’t work out and Max Allegri made changes in the second half, giving them more and eventually leading to a goal.

One man who did fight, not for the first time, is Weston McKennie. Tuttomercatoweb rated it 5/10 adding: “Apart from some interesting game changes and some good balling for Miretti early in the second half, he remembers little of the American’s performance failing to make an impact.”

However, Milik was isolated at times in the game, but still managed the goal and they rated it 6.5/10 and insisted it was decisive.

Many of the players who started the game struggled, but the substitutes made their mark after showing that Max Allegri made the decision to switch places.
