Manchester United Women have beaten Everton at home in the Continental Cup by 4-2.

United got things going quickly with a beautiful ball into the box from Batlle, converted by Boe Risa in the first minute.

United were calm and collected at the back despite the rotation and attacked well when in possession.

United weren’t letting up as they quickly regained possession and Boe Risa, who was putting in a great game, made the third in twenty minutes.

Some questionable referees allowed Everton to get one back as he appeared to be offside from the stands.

United went straight back into attacking mode, aiming to restore their three-goal lead, and Jade Moore scored a difficult goal.

The Toffees were growing into the game and some United players were disengaged, carelessly passing the ball across the frozen pitch, allowing chances to arise for the blue Merseyside side.

The second half began and United maintained the intensity. Garcia fired in the first five minutes, but it went into the side of the net.

Everton dominated possession in the second half, but luckily the defense was strong and Baggaley held the ball well.

In stoppage time Everton recovered another but it was too late to issue a challenge.
