Federico Chiesa suffered his terrible injury when Juventus faced AS Roma a year ago and the bianconeri’s next match would be against the same opponent.
The attacker is expected to start the match as Juve look to keep winning as the pressure mounts on the underperforming Roma side.
When the winger steps onto the pitch in that game, he’ll probably be filled with emotions that could be anger and want to score a goal to show he’s back.
The journalist Massimo Pavan expects that to happen and says via Tuttojuve:
“Against Torino I really wanted to win, with Roma we will have to not make mistakes in defense, I would like to mark Federico Chiesa, after what he went through due to injury with Roma, his goal and the victory would be a sign of destination”.
Juve FC says
It feels so good to have Chiesa back on the field and it would be nice to see him face the same opponents he played against before the injury.
The attacker is not yet 100% fit, but it is clear that he is now one of our best men and we can trust him to deliver.
In the game against Roma, I would be eager to score, but that is less important than us winning the game.
