Mario Sconcerti insists Juventus is missing Paul PogbaJuvefc.com

Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti has once again reflected on Juventus’ match against PSG and reveals that the Bianconeri are missing a 10 like Paul Pogba.

The French champions beat juve 2-1 in their first Champions League match of the season.

The Bianconeri have not been in top form for much of this season, although they have only played domestic games so far.

The match against the Parisians was their biggest test to date, and they almost earned a match point.

It didn’t end the way they wanted it to, but Sconcerti thinks they’re having trouble in certain phases of the game.

He said, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb:

“I was surprised by the improvement of the Juventus team, which, however, still does not make them a returning team. It is a team that still has to grow.

“Paredes, on the other hand, is an excellent player, who brings order to the game’s atmosphere but never goes beyond midfield. He does not help Juve to improve the construction of the attacking game. I didn’t care about Rabiot, or even about Miretti. He is always a Juve that depends on a player who cannot be there. He lacks the quality of Pogba, of a number ten”.

Juve FC says

Our team is still evolving and we have to give it some time to find a nice rhythm.

Constant injuries to some key players make it difficult to find balance, but that will improve for the new year when most of our long-term absentees return.
