Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford has revealed that his goal is to score more goals in the 22/23 season than he has scored in any campaign.

The 25-year-old also impressed for the England soccer team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, although he was not a regular starter.
Marcus Rashford’s current best goalscoring record in a single season is the 22 goals he scored in the 2019/20 season. The Manchester United star aims to improve that tally in the 2022/23 season.

“Every forward has a number that they always want to try to hit, and for me, it’s just scoring more than I’ve scored before in a season, so I think it’s 22 or 23, something like that. I need to try to keep scoring goals and keep affecting games,” Marcus Rashford told Amazon Prime.
As mentioned above, Marcus Rashford has been impressive for Manchester United in the 22/23 season. The England international has already scored more goals in the 22/23 season than he managed in the entire 21/22 season.
Marcus Rashford scored only five goals in the 21/22 season, but he has already managed to score 10 goals in the current 22/23 season. Five of those goals have come in the Premier League, where he has featured in all 15 games the Red Devils have played this season. He has also scored three goals in the Europa League and two goals in the EFL Cup.
Marcus Rashford has also scored one goal each in the two games Manchester United have played so far after the winter break. He scored a sensational solo goal in their 2-0 win over Burnley in the EFL Cup.
The England international also found the net as Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Manchester United currently sit fifth in the Premier League points table with 29 points from 15 games in the English top flight in the 22/23 season. They are just one point behind Tottenham Hotspur, who sit fourth after having played one more game than Man Utd.
