Kostas Manolas is best remembered for the goal that sealed Roma’s Champions League comeback over Barcelona in 2018, but he is now on his way to Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates.
The Greek defender arrives at Sharjah after a brief stint at Olympiacos and the United Arab Emirates club decided to make the announcement of the signing special by bringing a lion.
In the video below, Manolas can be seen posing with the lion before it lets out a small roar.
The Greek defender is visibly terrified of the animal after the roar and tries to back away by jumping on the tape placed there for the shot.
People around the photo shoot found the moment hilarious and Manolas is probably laughing a bit now that he sees the pictures.
