Manchester United’s Christian Eriksen scores incredible goal for Denmark – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has been in fine form recently and it was announced today that the Danish international had won United’s Player of the Month award.

But Eriksen has not only excelled at club level, he has also impressed on international service.

Last night, Denmark faced Croatia in the Nations League.

Croatia took the lead when Borna Sosa scored his first international goal for the hosts, but it was Eriksen who gave the visitors hope.

The 30-year-old equalized with a spectacular long shot from outside the area.

He received the ball from about 25 yards, and finding himself with a lot of space, he controlled it, turned it and curved it into the back of the net.

The Danish jubilation was short-lived, however, as Croatia went ahead just two minutes later with a Majer goal that turned out to be the winner.

Eriksen’s was his third goal since returning to the international squad after cardiac arrest in the Euro 2020 final.

The summer signing has played in all six of United’s Premier League games so far this season and also in both of their Europa League games.

He has registered two assists, but has been adapting well, creating chances in the future.

After last night’s impressive goal, Reds fans are hoping he can do the same against City when he returns from international duty.
