Manchester United Women to face Sunderland or Blackburn in FA Cup – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United Women have found out who they will face in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The Reds have been drawn against either Blackburn or Sunderland, with the match taking place on January 28 or 29.

Fans have been asking for the draw to be broadcast somewhere for several years and they were able to catch it on the FA Player yesterday.

Blackburn and Sunderland will face each other this coming Sunday in the third round and then it will be confirmed which side the Reds will play on.

At the start of the season, the club’s goal was to achieve a top three finish in the league and try to challenge for a trophy.

United play Sheffield United in the Conti Cup on Sunday, which will be the team’s last game before the winter break, but the Reds have already been knocked out of the competition.

Therefore, they will be looking to put together a good run in the FA Cup to fight for the trophy.

Blackburn currently sit eighth in the Championship, while Sunderland sit second to last in 11th, with just seven points.

However, the FA Cup often throws up some surprises for the lower ranked teams, so United will not underestimate the strength and determination these teams will have on the night.

United are currently on pace to finish in the top three but remain tight at the top and there is a long way to go.

Their draw against City in the derby last weekend leaves them three points ahead of fourth-placed City, two points behind second-placed Arsenal and five points behind leaders Chelsea.

The next United will play in the league on January 15 when they face Liverpool at home.
