A win against West Ham means they have reached the FA Cup quarter-finals and are also set for a round of 16 tie against Real Betis in the Europa League, both games winnable.
Add to this incredible run by United in the Premier League, where they still have a long shot of winning, and the job Erik ten Hag has done becomes even clearer.
Sabitzer has arrived at the right time
Even the most fervent fan would not have dreamed of such a turnaround in less than eight months and for this the Dutch coach deserves to be applauded.
United’s momentum could have stalled when Christian Eriksen suffered a long-term injury along with Scott McTominay with United facing a packed fixture schedule.
But Bayern Munich’s deadline-day sack of Marcel Sabitzer on loan helped Ten Hag stay on course and the Austrian has played his part in helping United maintain this winning streak.
The Austrian international has made six appearances so far for the Red Devils and has impressed the manager and fans with his drive and desire.

There have been numerous reports that the Bundesliga giants are open to dumping Sabitzer in the summer and that United would be more than happy to turn this loan deal into a permanent one.

United have a decision to make regarding Sabitzer
But as The Peoples Person reported, United’s summer budget will depend on spending and a striker remains the top priority.
If United are going to spend a lot on a goalscorer, recruiting a midfielder for a lot of money will be difficult and Bayern won’t part with Sabitzer on the cheap.
Juventus have also linked the 28-year-old with Adrien Rabiot set to go free with the Frenchman’s well-known admirers.
