Manchester United players the most loyal in the Premier League – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United players are the most loyal in the Premier League, according to recently released statistics.

With players staying with the club for an average of four and a half years, the Reds Devils finished at the top of the loyalty chart among their player body.

Following extensive research by TicketGum.com, United was found to be the club where players stay the longest out of the 20 Premier League teams.

And this will come as no surprise to fans of the club, as players past and present continue to spend much of their career at Old Trafford.

With races so relatively short and the beautiful gameplay being as fluid as ever, players are constantly on the go.

However, United have always seemed to be a club where players want to be and stay, as the data shows.

“Manchester United not only have 659 million loyal fans, but they also have the most loyal players: footballers spend an average of 54 months and 11 days (four and a half years) at the club,” the report read. .

More than a month ago in terms of time spent at a club was Arsenal. They finished second in both the loyalty test and in terms of academy productivity.

Brentford players propped up the table, only staying an average of 29 months and 6 days in the London side, based on figures collected between 2000 and 2022.

Over 2 years apart, some of the historical reasons for player retention between big and small clubs can be quite obvious.

But a look at United’s current side shows a slightly different picture.

With long-term signings such as David de Gea and Phil Jones spending over 10 years at the club, and Luke Shaw approaching nine, United have shown that player longevity can be achieved despite a lack of success.

The club has always had youth players who have also started and finished their careers at Old Trafford.

Among the fifteen most loyal servers of the period, United has three in the top ten.

With Ryan Giggs spending his entire 23-year career with the Reds, and Paul Scholes and Gary Neville achieving the same feat, United remains a club where players want to stay.

Former greats like Bobby Charlton, Bill Foulkes and Wayne Rooney also spent most of their careers at United.

And so it proves, despite recent denunciations by the now deceased Cristiano Ronaldo, who accused the club of having outdated facilities and being behind schedule, Manchester United is still the place to be and stay.
