Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored a penalty to secure Portugal’s win over Uruguay.
Fernandes himself won the penalty when he tried to blind José Giménez. Unfortunately for the Uruguayan defender, he maneuvered the ball into his path and after a VAR control, a penalty was awarded.
Fernandes took the plate with Cristiano Ronaldo already substituted to score his second goal of the game and double Portugal’s lead.
