Olmo is valued at 40 million euros by TransfrMarket. His contract at Red Bull Arena is due to expire in June 2024. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola previously applauded Olmo, saying: “He is a great player, he has a bright future, of course. … The point is that he is an incredible player, and I am pretty sure that he can play in the strong leagues in Europe.”

Erik ten Hag is eager to add a new attacker to his squad following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portugal international left Old Trafford after his relationship with management soared in November.

Victor Osimhen, Moussa Dembele and Ben Brereton Diaz have also been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks. Meanwhile, Manchester United have also shown interest in signing Cody Gakpo ahead of his move to Liverpool last week.
