Manchester United could be open to a potential Harry Kane transfer – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United could turn to Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur after the club’s striker crisis.

Last month, Cristiano Ronaldo, who was the club’s top scorer last season, left the club after reaching a mutual agreement.

He has left Erik ten Hag’s team without quality options in attack, leaving Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford as the only options they could take advantage of.

Both players are likely to feature in the starting line-up, meaning a youngster could be used as a substitute striker.

Anthony Elanga, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony can all play up front, but it seems unlikely that Ten Hag won’t be looking for a new striker in January.

The club has linked up with Cody Gakpo and Memphis Depay in recent weeks and months, and one of them seems likely to arrive next month.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Man United are open to the transfer of Harry Kane amid transfer rumors.

18 months ago, Kane came close to signing for Manchester City, but the deal fell through.

This summer, the Citizens bought Erling Haaland and the English striker stayed at Tottenham.

However, with strong links to the striker in the past, United along with Newcastle could swoop in on the striker soon.

Kane has a contract that lasts until 2024 but could soon leave his club in search of trophies.

Surely the Red Devils will have to qualify for the Champions League if they want to have the opportunity to sign the Englishman.

The 29-year-old had a mixed performance at the World Cup, missing his second penalty in the quarterfinals.

England were unable to capitalize late in the match with output slipping once Kane missed his kick from the penalty mark.
