Manchester United and Liverpool plan to hijack Chelsea’s move to sign Borussia Dortmund youngster Youssoufa Moukoko.
Moukoko looks set to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer, with his contract set to expire. If Dortmund cannot link Moukoko to a new deal, they could consider selling him in the January transfer window to prevent him leaving on a free transfer.
The 18-year-old has become a Dortmund regular after Erling Haaland left for Manchester City and was even included in the German World Cup squad, despite his age.
Now, according to The Times, Manchester United and Liverpool plan to hijack Chelsea’s offer to sign Moukoko.

The report claims that Moukoko will consider whether he will receive enough playing time wherever he goes as he fears his career will stagnate.
Despite being only 18 years old, Moukoko has the talent to play top-level European football, so moving to a bigger club may not be too beneficial if they are not willing to offer him a starting job.
Staying in Dortmund could be the best for his development at the moment, as the German club offers him regular minutes.
