The incident reportedly occurred after Phil Foden’s goal was disallowed after VAR decided that Erling Haaland fouled Fabinho in the build-up.

Unfortunately, it is always a small minority of fans who partake in these kinds of antics that give football fans a bad name.

Hopefully the FA and the Premier League can find the culprits and give them enough punishment and there is no place in football for the incidents that we saw in the game. The talking points after this match between two of the elite teams in Europe should be around the exciting competition on the football pitch.
