Manchester City and Chelsea to Compete for Lionel Messi

Two English Premier League giants, Manchester City and Chelsea, are reportedly looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi during the upcoming summer transfer window as a free agent.

Coming from La Masia, Lionel Messi became one of the best players in the history of football.

For most of his career, the Argentine was part of Barcelona. He won everything possible for the club and left only when the Catalan giants failed to register his contract.

Following his departure, Messi joined Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year deal. The Argentine striker had a very rough start to his career at PSG. He scored just six goals in his first season in Ligue 1, which can be called poor by incredible standards. However, he still managed to win the Ligue 1 title.
