Two English Premier League giants, Manchester City and Chelsea, are reportedly looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi during the upcoming summer transfer window as a free agent.

Following his departure, Messi joined Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year deal. The Argentine striker had a very rough start to his career at PSG. The Citizens plan to achieve the same by bringing Pep Guardiola and Lionel Messi together. And because of the relationship with Pep, it has been understood that they are in pole position to land the superstar.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have emerged as another potential destination for the Argentine captain. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly wanted to sign a standout player at the start of the season. It didn’t happen back then. But now with Lionel Messi having become a free agent, they are expected to go after the Argentine.
