Manchester United target Milan Skriniar’s future at Inter Milan is increasingly uncertain. The Italian Serie A central defender’s contract will expire at the end of June.
Late last year, there was speculation that the star was considering swapping Inter’s blue and black for Manchester United’s red.
A move to Paris Saint-Germain now seems more like a reality for the centre-back.
Doubts have been raised once again that Skriniar will stay at Inter, with reports claiming that Paris Saint-Germain are close to securing the player’s signature (via Calcio Mercato).
Reports also claim that the Inter player rejected his current club’s offer for a contract extension.
In a conference, PSG coach Christophe Galtier did not deny his club’s interest in the Slovak defender. He spurred rumors that a Nerazzurri farewell is no longer a possibility but a certainty.
Galtier said:
“I have seen the information that has come out about Skriniar, but I cannot say if he will come this season or in the summer. I can not tell you.
Galtier added: “Management is working and I have a lot to do with my players, and I need to focus on what we need.”
Milan Skriniar started his career at Zilina in Slovakia.
Skriniar subsequently joined Serie A side Sampdoria in 2016 before starting his career at Inter the following year.
The Slovak defender has won the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups.
Europe’s elite recognize the 27-year-old’s pedigree, but it seems PSG are in the top position to secure the defender’s talent.
