Manchester City remain tied in Germany against Borussia Dortmund after Riyad Mahrez failed to put the Premier League side ahead from the penalty spot.
Pep Guardiola decided to bring out the Manchester club’s regular penalty taker Erling Haaland at half-time to protect him from future matches and the responsibility shifted to last year’s penalty taker Riyad Mahrez.
The winger came forward to put City ahead, but his shot was saved by Gregor Kobel at the Dortmund goal.
Riyad Mahrez scores a penalty for Manchester City, and takes it himself… but stops!
