Mac Allister’s dad gives update on his future amidst interest from Juventus

This summer it looks likely that Alexis Mac Allister will leave Brighton and there are plenty of clubs in Europe interested in the player joining their team.

The midfielder rose to fame as a member of the World Cup-winning Argentina team in Qatar and has since been linked with a move away from the English south coast.

Mac Allister only cost the Seagulls £7m in 2019, he will undoubtedly be worth a lot more now and there were rumors in January that he was going to be sold, but Brighton ruled out any sale at the time.

However, it will be very different in the summer and, apart from Juventus, other clubs are now lining up to express interest, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle United.

Carlos Mac Allister, the father of the players, had a few words to say about his son’s options, saying, as quoted by Sussexexpress.co.uk

“He is very happy at the club. We know that in July there will be chances to go out. But before the World Cup, Alexis renewed his contract, so the club has the opportunity to make a big sale.

So there you have it, he is likely to move in the summer and that means Juventus will have a chance to sign the Argentinian, however a lot will depend on price and that is where Juve could be at a disadvantage.
