Loan watch: Alvaro Fernandez, Dean Henderson and Ethan Galbraith struggle in defeats – Man United News And Transfer News

Some on loan from Manchester United were in action today for their teams, in the Premier League, Championship and La Liga.

Here’s how United’s stars performed while showing up for their temporary employers.

Henderson started in goal for Nottingham Forest in a 1–0 loss at Molineux. Henderson’s side were brought down by a Ruben Neves penalty in the 56th minute.

The goalkeeper had a below-average performance, as his stats show.

The 25-year-old only made one save and a single high claim. He had 38 touches on the ball.

Henderson only completed four of the 20 long balls he tried to send to his teammates, failing to show his distribution and skill on the ball. He recorded a passing accuracy of 48.4%.

The result has left Forest bottom of the league. The United loanee along with his teammates have a fight on their hands to stay awake this season.

ethan galbraith

Galbraith, currently away from Salford City, saw his team lose 1-0 against Bradford. The young man played the 90 minutes.

The 21-year-old had 71 touches on the ball and an impressive 88.5% passing accuracy. The Northern Irish footballer made two interceptions in the match.

Gailbraith will be disappointed with his dueling numbers. He lost all of his ground and aerial duels against Bradford. He also lost possession 12 times and failed to complete a single dribble.

Diallo’s struggles with Sunderland appear to be far from over after he only appeared for 45 minutes for the Black Cats.

Sunderland achieved a 2-1 victory against Wigan Athletic.

Diallo registered a shot wide and only completed one of the two dribbles he attempted.

The attacker had 27 touches on the ball and an 84.2% success rate in passes. In addition to this, the Ivorian completed the only long ball he attempted and made two interceptions.

He made one tackle and lost possession six times.

Diallo urgently needs to address his productivity on his loan spell with Sunderland, which is not going according to plan. Should the time come, the club must make a decision on continuing the loan to avoid stunting his development.

Alvaro Fernandez

United’s young left-back played in defense as Ryan Lowe’s men fell to Stoke City in a 2-0 thrashing.

Fernandez, who has earned plaudits for his stellar performances in Preston colours, had 72 touches and a passing accuracy of 69.6% to his name.

The full-back made one clearance and five interceptions in the loss to Stoke.

The 19-year-old completed 100% of his dribbles, 2/7 long balls and a key pass. He had one punt and two interceptions.

Still a diamond in the rough, Fernandez turned the ball over 20 times and failed to complete any of the four crosses he tried to put in.

Brazilian star Telles played for Spanish club Sevilla in a 1-0 win against Mallorca.

Telles played 67 minutes and only had 36 touches, 68.8% possession and only one key pass.

The 29-year-old only completed one cross out of five he attempted, winning one duel on the ground and two duels in the air, and committing just one foul.

He made a punt, an interception and successfully delivered a long ball.

United’s loanees must offer more than they have in today’s presentation if they hope to disrupt Erik ten Hag’s plans and win his big first-team shot. As his stats highlight, there’s a lot of work to be done.
