Liverpool vs. Leeds date confirmed – 1 of 7 late kickoffs in October – Liverpool FC

Liverpool’s date with Leeds has been confirmed for the end of October, and the kick-off schedule continues with a ‘late’ trend for Jurgen Klopp’s side next month.

Klopp’s side finally return to action on Saturday, with Brighton away in the first game of the month and the first Premier League game since September 3.

It has been a long time coming and kicks off a hectic schedule with Liverpool playing 13 games in just 42 days before the World Cup break.

Leeds is one of eight different teams the Reds will face in October, with the visit of Jesse Marsch’s side now scheduled for Saturday 29 October, with kick-off at 7:45pm (UK).

Saturday’s late start follows midweek Champions League action at Ajax on Wednesday (October 26) and precedes a visit from Napoli (November 1) just three days later.

The change to Liverpool’s game against Leeds, which will be shown live on Sky Sports, now ensures that Klopp’s side have seven of their next nine games with a kick-off time of 4.30pm.

A brace against Rangers (8:00 p.m.), a trip to Arsenal (4:30 p.m.) and Ajax (8:00 p.m.) and a visit to Man City (4:30 p.m.), West Ham (7:30 p.m.) and Leeds (7:45 p.m.) adds up to a month of late kickoffs.

The trip to Nottingham Forest on October 22 is the only exception, along with Brighton, with an early start of 12.30pm sandwiched between games against the Hammers and Ajax.
