Liverpool scouts watched talented €15m winger last month states journalist

Liverpool had scouts present at Galatasaray’s match with Konyaspor last month as they followed the progress of four players.

That’s according to Yakup Cinar, who reports that the Reds were eyeing Sacha Boey (right back), Victor Nelsson (centre back), Yunus Akgün (right back/No.10) and Muhammed Kerem Aktürkoglu (left back). .

The Premier League club will continue to follow his progress throughout the season, but there is one that Cinar believes will stand out among Liverpool scouts.

Speaking to Empire of the Kop, Cinar said: “I think [Liverpool] I will follow Yunus and Sacha more closely.”

However, the reporter spoke highly of Yunus Akgun, stating, “He [Akgun] he is one of the greatest talents that Turkish football has grown in recent years,

“He is very intelligent and reflects that intelligence in his football. He has the ability to play on the right flank and is number 10.

“His last shot is as good as Michael Owen’s. The man can get ahead and he is a very technical football player.”

Akgun seems to be the one who could most attract Liverpool, according to Cinar, and the winger would only cost the ‘reds’ 15 million euros, says the journalist.

Liverpool recently linked Mohamed Salah to a new three-year deal, but Akgun could have the potential to be the 30-year-old’s replacement when the time comes for the Egyptian to move on.
