Liverpool fans will know full well that our attempts to retain last season’s League and FA Cup wins didn’t last as long as we would have liked, but a current Red is still enjoying his time in a competition.
Currently on loan at Blackburn Rovers, Tyler Morton played a key role in helping his team reach the quarter-final of the FA Cup with a huge win over Leicester City.

Being from the division below Brendan Rodgers’ side, the odds were certainly not in Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side’s favor, but they carried their strong championship form into cup competition.
Let’s hope our 20-year-old midfielder continues to thrive during his loan spell and can return to Anfield full of confidence after a great season away.
