Liverpool in a ‘triple fight’ for Jude Bellingham

Liverpool supporters are desperate to see Jude Bellingham arrive at Anfield and it looks like we’ve gotten quite a boost in our current search for the player, if one source is to be believed.

As reported by Florian Plettenberg: ‘#MUFC has almost no chance anymore. Triple fight: Liverpool, City, Real! #LFC & Klopp pushing! But not at any price because of FFP. Price: Up to 150 million euros! JB is LFC’s main target for central midfield, along with 2 players from South America.

It is certainly a Tweet that is loaded with information from the journalist from Sky Sports Germany and will attract the attention of many of our fans.

Firstly, to hear that Manchester United have little chance of signing the Birmingham-born midfielder is a welcome update, as we certainly wouldn’t want to see him plying his trade at Old Trafford.

Secondly, competition from Manchester City and Real Madrid is not a surprise, but could be a concern given the large finances available and especially compared to us and during our current uncertain ownership.

Hearing that we could spend up to 150 million euros is also great news and if we manage to finance that deal, it would be a big surprise for many.

It is unknown who the South American alternatives are, but again they will be worth watching, if this update is to be believed.
