Liverpool eyeing AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer

Liverpool are interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The Algerian international has established himself among the best midfielders in Serie A since he joined the Rossoneri from Empoli during the 2019 summer transfer window.

He has played 126 games for the Milan team so far, registering four goals and eight assists. Ismael Bennacer helped the Rossoneri win the Serie A title last season. The 25-year-old midfielder is also a key member of the Algerian national team. Bennacer has represented his country 40 times since he debuted in 2016.

According to Relevo (h/t The Hard Tackle), Liverpool are interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The Algerian international’s current contract at the San Siro will expire at the end of next season.

AC Milan are willing to extend their stay and have met with their representatives in recent weeks. But nothing has been signed yet. The Rossoneri could look to cash in on him next summer rather than letting him go on a free transfer in 2024.

Steve Nicol urges Liverpool to sign Soyfan Amrabat

Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol has urged the Reds to sign Fiorentina midfielder Soyfan Amrabat. Speaking to the media, he said: “Definitely Amrabat. Thinking back to Liverpool in their prime, winning the Premier League, winning the Champions League, they had three players in the middle of the park.

Who just physically outplayed, they fought, they outplayed anyone who got in front of them. If there was a beast in the World Cup, it was this guy. He caught Mbappé ”.

Soyfan Amrabat has impressed with his performances for Morocco during the recently concluded 2022 FIFA World Cup. He played seven games during the competition, recording 2.3 tackles, 0.9 interceptions and 1.4 clearances per 90 minutes.
